Tested clean
Every batch tested by SC Labs
California requires every finished cannabis product to pass state-mandated lab testing before it reaches a dispensary shelf. Proof's batches are tested by SC Labs, an independent lab.

Why testing shapes how we formulate
The face serum that failed
In 2019 we made our first batch of face serum with only sustainably sourced, organically grown ingredients, and it still failed testing. There was no jasmine extract available that could pass California's pesticide standards, even when organically grown, because of soil contamination.
It taught us how rigorous cannabis testing is, and how much goes unchecked in food and cosmetics. Every Proof ingredient has to meet that standard.

Questions about testing
- Who tests Proof products?
- SC Labs, an independent, state-licensed and ISO/IEC 17025 accredited cannabis testing lab in California. Every batch must pass before it can be sold.
- Is the whole product tested, or just the cannabis?
- The whole finished product. In California, every ingredient in the bottle is tested together, not only the cannabis oil that goes into it.
- How do I see the results for my Proof product?
- Find the batch number on your package and enter it in the batch lookup on this page. Results for 2026 batches are online. For the full certificate of analysis, or an older batch, send us the batch number with the form on this page and we'll email it.
- Where are Proof Remedy test results?
- Each Proof Remedy (hemp CBD) product page links to its lab results.
