About Julie
Background
Julie Mercer-Ingram founded Proof in 2016, after a loved one's cancer diagnosis left her family unable to find a cannabis wellness brand that was clean, effective and affordable.
She is a licensed California attorney who has practiced cannabis and hemp law since 2015. When California's adult-use program launched in 2018, she helped operators come into compliance, and from 2017 to 2019 she co-chaired the Sonoma County Cannabis Advisory Group.
She studied design before law, and she created Proof's signature branding, for both Proof and its sister brand Super Wow.
